Samsung and LG are the two brands we see most in Clark County kitchens and laundry rooms, and they fail in predictable ways. This page lists the Samsung and LG problems our technicians fix every week in Vancouver, Camas and the surrounding towns, and how a repair is priced.

How we price Samsung and LG repairs

Repair or replace a Samsung or LG appliance?

If the unit is under about ten years old and the repair is well under half the price of a comparable new one, repair it. Ice makers, pumps, sensors, heating elements and dampers all fall on the repair side. A sealed-system failure on an out-of-warranty refrigerator, or a bearing job on a twelve-year-old washer, is where we will tell you to replace.

Where we service Samsung and LG appliances

Same-day appointments across Vancouver, Camas, Washougal, Battle Ground, Salmon Creek, Hazel Dell, Ridgefield and Portland. Service pages: refrigerator repair, washer repair, dryer repair, dishwasher repair.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the model number before I call?

It helps. On Samsung and LG appliances the label is inside the refrigerator door, inside the washer or dryer door frame, or on the edge of the dishwasher door. Tell us the model and the symptom and we usually arrive with the right part.

Can you fix a Samsung ice maker for good?

Yes. A new ice-maker assembly plus sealing the housing is the repair we recommend; a defrost alone comes back.

Is my LG compressor covered?

Often the part is. Give us the model and serial and we will tell you what LG covers before we quote the labor.
